What a great "boss" it was a pleasure to work for him. I remember getting called in around Christmas for snow duty. He had the owner of the local grocery store (Haleys) open up special and let him in so he could buy each one of us who worked that day a ham. He was kind hearted person and left behind many memories of all who knew him. You have our deepest sympathy for your family's loss.

My sympathies to all of you. Mrs. Henry worked in the counseling office at the high school when I went there in Marshalltown. Beautiful smile and personality. When I registered for college in Chicago, we compared notes as such and found out I was going to school in the building she graduated high school from- Maine West in Des Plaines. I would see her every so often in town or over in her yard on Boone Street. Prayers to all of her family...

Cheryl was such a friend and almost family when Denny and I moved to Le Grand, Iowa and Ed and Denny worked together. We did family outings, barbecues, were on the same bowling league and are children were close to the same age. I will never forget the night our son was born Dustin, we dropped off Mindy our daughter as we headed to the hospital in a snow storm. Oh yes and Denny did not want to miss the Peach Bowl the Hawkeyes were in. It was so good to have the long talk with Denny and I after Ed passed away. We were unaware you were sick too. It's not fare to lose both your parents just months apart our condolences to Eddie and Emilie. mmon

I don't know why but I always remember the story of Chris and Ed writing love letters while Ed was in the military. Chris and Ed's awesome parenting and love for Em and Ed are evident through the friendship that Emily gives to me and our "Iowa Girl Crew" and through both Em and Ed's independence. Besides being one of my best friend's parent I know Chris from the work she did in our MHS counseling office. I remember her as sweet, caring, thoughtful, loyal, adoring, and quietly funny. CHRIS AND ED!! Love you MLE and Ed...you are in my thoughts and heart!!

Miss ya Mom and Dad!
