This purple heart belongs to a very brave young man that was in the navy in the 1940's. He passed on D Day. I have been very blessed and grateful to have come across such important n personal history of the items I have. I feel like I know him and his family just thru letters the young man wrote to his mother and mother to him. I actually was able to compare dates and theother keep the letter so neatly in a box that I was able to find the last tearful letter he wrote his mother about how he was good even made a reference of how pretty the lady's was in England and continued on promising her he was going to make it home and begging her not to worry. Along with that I have several documents in frames his picture his navy ring. I did attempt to find contact his living family I was able to only find a sister and could not get a accurate address or number. If I was in any position I so heartedlu want to donate these items but I'm truly not in any situation too. But I do know that they deserve more then collecting dust in my cold attic. Sorry about the over detail but it's just been such a sad but amazing time with these items. Especially including history was far from my favorite subject especially war but I can't get enough of it now thank you for your time

Thanks for taking the time to email me and sharing the the photos. Will post on our website today.
